Winter Adventures!

Hello everyone! It's pretty chilly in these parts and Kenny thought it a good time to teach me the
art of ice fishing! My first thought was, "walk on a frozen lake?" However, once I found out there was a 2 foot layer of ice on top of the lake, my fear subsided. So, about ice fishing...I reccommend it. Kenny is a great teacher and companion if you're doing anything for the first time. It was fun. We caught lots of small perch and filleted them for dinner...mmmmm...good.

How is it that you're in the middle of nowhere, it's freezing (I think) outside, you're icefishing and you still look cute?!?!?!?! How is that possible? That's not fair!! Well, at least it looks like you're having fun out there!

I agree with Bec, if you could try looking less, um, perfect, when you do outdoorsy stuff, or anything really, it would sure help the rest of us out. Nice catch though!

All in favor of voting Janelle out of our group of friends due to her perfect cuteness say "Aye!"

Congrats on the catch!! Talyn & I went ice fishing for perch in Minnesota during our Christmas vacation and didn't catch anything but minnows...

Hi Janelle! It's Jenny (Lamb) Infanger. Luckily Sarah found my blog , through which I got back in touch with Shannon too and saw your blog link on theirs! :) You and Kenny are so cute and it's awesome to see you guys off doing things like this. Chris goes ice fishing with his dad, but I have never been. You inspired me! I'll have to take Chris up on his offer to take me sometime. I hate the cold but it looks like you had fun. Chris brought home some trout a few weeks ago that I really enjoyed. Hope it's okay that I came across your blog. It's great to hear how you are doing! We have a blog too, http://theinfangers.blogspot.com/ if you ever want to see what you are up to. You are adorable as always! Fun to keep in touch with you. Take care!
